The OG Fortnite has evidently brought back the glory days of the tactical shooter. While the world is busy reminiscing about the old-school days of Chapter 1 features, Epic Games is leaving no stone unturned to reunite the OGs of the game. It seems like the developers have managed to pull off another wonder and thanks to Dr DisRespect, fans’ expectations are sky-high.

Ever since Epic Games launched the OG season, it has been the talk of the town. From classic maps and weapons to good-old skins, every item unvaulting has only added to the buzz built around the latest launch. Further, the speculations and theories around the OG gangs and streamers coming back to the world of Fortnite have kept the fans on edge. But is the homecoming of the old timers and veterans of the game ‘too good to be true’? Dr DisRespect doesn’t think so.

Remember Tfue, the Fortnite Pro? Surely most players associated with the early days of the tactical shooter will recall Tfue’s Fortnite livestream. However, the iconic streamer had been absent from the game’s limelight for a long while now. But the glory season and its call for homecoming might have just knocked on the door of the OG champion. The speculations about his possible return to the ‘island’ started when Dr DisRespect dropped a massive tease to his X account. No stream today.  NDA’d outta my mind. See you on Monday for OG Fortnite Duos with Tfue,” the Doc wrote on November 3.

When Tfue joined Faze Clan in 2018, he quickly rose to prominence as one of the most prominent Fortnite streamers, and his highlights from the original Chapter 1 of the game quickly became classics. However, in June 2018, allegations surfaced that he was selling Fortnite accounts to other players, leading to the suspension of his Epic Games account. Earlier in June 2023, during Chapter 3, Tfue announced his retirement from streaming as he wanted to prioritize his personal life. Also, the streamer had expressed his disappointment with the latest developments in Fortnite.

Fans are high-spirited

According to the hint posted by Dr DisRespect, the collaboration is set to unfold on November 6, Monday, which means just hours from now. The excitement around the possible collaboration has already taken over the internet. Here’s how the fans reacted to an X (formerly Twitter) account that fueled the speculations of Tfue returning.

A user doesn’t want their hopes to get too high as they have a tightly packed work schedule. Hopefully, all the expectations will be surpassed in just a matter of hours.

Another user already planned an extended weekend.

Is a Kick contract happening? This user thinks so. Kick had tried to sign DrDisRespect for a reported $50 million. However that didn’t happen. But with tfue’s apparent return, will he sign? After all, he is away from Twitch.

The feeling of getting old hits hard, especially when the nostalgia kicks in, a user makes a confession.
