Top lane: 

Bai “369” Jia-Hao — JD Gaming (LPL)

In his current form, 369 is the best in the business when it comes to the top lane. He helped his parent organization JD Gaming win its second LPL title in the summer of 2022. There are many top players in the current roster of Worlds 2022, but in the top lane, 369 is arguably the king.

Mid lane: 

Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon — Gen.G (LCK)

The mid lane was once dominated by Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, but now in the current form, he is not even in the top three. The mid lane role is now ruled by the South Korean pro Chovy. 

AD carry

Park “Viper” Do-hyeon — EDward Gaming (LPL)

This role is one of the most hyped roles in the pro scene because of the sheer level of talent of the players. The AD carries are one of the most crucial members of the team. Their skills literally decide the fate of the match. Excelling in this role is very hard, but still, Viper managed to come to the top as the best AD carry in Worlds 2022. 

Jungle 

Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang — Top Esports (LPL)

Tian is the main predator in the jungles of Worlds 2022. His sheer skill and ability to control the map while participating in the group fight makes him possibly the best jungle in the tournament.

Ryu “Keria” Min-seok — T1 (LCK)

After a season of consecutive success, Keria has built up a massive base of followers and admirers. The weight of expectations on his shoulder will be very heavy, as his supporting skills will likely make or break the deal for his teams. 

When will League of Legends Worlds 2022 happen? 

Worlds 2022 will kick off on September 29 in Mexico City and will culminate on November 5 in San Francisco. The tournament will start with play-ins and then proceed to the group stages on October 7-10, the quarter-finals on October 20-23, the semi-finals on October 29-30, and then the finals in the end.
