The Super Mario Bros. Movie Rumored To Turn Into a Trilogy as Bowser’s French Voice Actor Drop Hints

Getting to see their favorite games turning into a movie is one of the biggest treats for a game’s core fan. The Super Mario franchise is among the greatest titles of Nintendo and was celebrated this year with the release of Super Mario Bros: The Movie. Following the massive success of the film, there have been a lot of speculations on the movie’s sequel.

Distributed by Universal Pictures, the animated movie was released in April this year in more than six languages. This was to cater to its humongous fan base across the globe. Fans felt the movie did serve justice to the emotions that come along with Super Mario’s memories. A recent interview with Jérémie Covillault who is the French voice of Browser in the movie, has teased fans with a possibility of a trilogy.

But after the interview of Covillaunt surfaced on social media, it is the first time that there are rumors about not just the upcoming sequel but a third addition to the movie franchise. While there’s still silence on further developments by the makers, the statements by the actor hinted at the exception of a trilogy. Adding to the excitement, Nintendo recently showed interest in coming out with more installments of its title’s animation pictures.
