Microsoft coming with all guns blazing

Microsoft announced last year that they are looking to take over Activision-Blizzard, the devs behind fan-favorite titles like Call of Duty and Overwatch. The reveal got Sony frantically trying to prevent the deal from going through. Claiming an undue advantage for Microsoft, Sony sought to get an injunction on the deal. The three confirmed games for the Game Pass 2023 are The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Sea of Stars and Everspace 2. While the first two are completely new launches, the latter is a previously released title that will be available on Xbox series X and S for the first time.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be available on the Xbox Game Pass from August 18th. The game is expected to let players play either as a member of the notorious Slaughter Family as well as their victims. Based on the iconic 1974 horror movie, the Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be a third-person asymmetrical horror game.
