March 2023 marks the second edition of Streamer Awards. Created by the talented content creator QTCinderella, this ceremony is aimed at bringing the streaming, entertainment, and gaming celebrities under one roof and commemorating the achievements that many of them had made in the previous year.

The list was long and competitive for this season as well, with many talented personalities fighting it out for the selected categories. One among them which many were keenly looking forward was the Best Stream Game of the year. And the 2022 Game of The Year rose to the occasion to be awarded the prestigious title.

Elden Ring beats many popular titles to win at the 2023 Streamers Award

The categories that were up in the award ceremony were action-packed. With various talented artists competing for a shot at the winning title, the competition was out of the roof. But eventually, everything trickles down to one winner for each genre.

One category which the audience was keenly waiting for was the Best Stream game of 2022. The category was filled with some popular titles which ruled the streaming front in 2022. The games that were nominated for the award were Riot’s FPS Valorant, the explorative adventure Minecraft, PlayStation exclusive God of War Ragnarok, and the 2022 Game of the year Elden Ring.

Valorant was a dominating figure on Twitch and was garnering a lot of audience. Minecraft was also pulling a large audience, and thus the competition was tough. But just like how Elden Ring defeated many huge AAA titles in the 2022 Game Awards, it beat these games as well. They crowned the game the best stream game of 2022 at the streamer awards.

Elden Ring is proving its worth by winning back-to-back titles. Without a doubt, we can say that Elden Ring is one of the best games that got released in the past year. We can expect the game to perform in the same margin in the future as well.

It would be interesting to see if Elden Ring can carry this momentum in 2023 as well. With titles like Hogwarts Legacy shattering records this year, the 2024 streamer award would be even more competitive.

The 2023 nominees also would take part in this race as well. Valorant has very explosive Esports events scheduled for 2023, and this will pose a big competition for Elden Ring and other competitors.
