An interesting thing to note in this case is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt amassed more players during the launch of the Netflix series’ season 1 than during its launch day. In 2015, Witcher 3’s launch saw 92,000 concurrent players, while during the launch of the Netflix series’ season 1, there were more than 100,000 concurrent players. One reason behind this might be players wanting to relive Geralt’s story after watching the series or new players wanting to try their hands on the game.
