Aside from the thrilling single-player campaign, the game also features multiplayer with various modes to try out. Also, Modern Warfare II multiplayer mode has many new features to try, including the return of the much-talked nuke strike. However, the much-anticipated mode’s return did not grab the expected reception from the fans.

A user claims the ‘first’ nuke in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

In 2009, the original Modern Warfare 2 introduced a feature called Tactical Nuke. If players managed to get 25 eliminations without dying, they could get access to a nuclear strike. It was the most powerful weapon, as it immediately resulted in a victory for its users.

Since this game, Activision has tried bringing back the feature in their later projects. Even Call of Duty Mobile has got this feature. However, many CoD installments did not have this. But the developers needed to add the nuke or something similar for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

A Twitter user and Call of Duty fan, Naki, shared a video where the player tested out the nuke. The move is being called Mass Guided Bombs (MGB) this time. Many sources, including famous video game journalist Jake Lucky, were impressed with the ‘first’ nuke of the game worldwide.

Fans do not acknowledge the nuke call to be the first of the game

The CoD Players would need to achieve 3o kills without dying to unlock it in a match. Undoubtedly, it is going to be a challenging task to achieve that number without falling victim to an opponent’s bullet. As a result, fans refused to acknowledge Naki’s MGB attack as the first nuke in Modern Warfare II. Because they believe that the player used the nuke attack in a private lobby with bots.
