The YouTuber has addressed her fans and their questions in her return to streaming. To put things into a formal context, Valkyrae in talks with her friend and OfflineTV star Disguised Toast in a podcast disclosed some interesting aspects of her re-signing. But the interview became more interesting when YouTuber revealed the reason behind the suspense revolving around her then-to-be next platform.

Valkyrae discloses the actual reason for various platform speculations
Earlier in January, 100 Thieves co-owner, Valkyrae, revealed that her contract with YouTube Gaming was soon ending after two years. This fueled various conversations and speculations in the community, as many debated the former Twitch star’s next platform.

Answering a question about how the new year is shaping out for her. She explains it has been a great start before stepping into her YouTube situation. Valkyrae highlights how her two years with the red platform, YouTube, had ended at the time of recording. She also talks about her then-upcoming platform announcement. To which Toast said, “Well, when this comes out,” “Well when this comes out, we’ll already know.” continued Rachell.

Fortunately, to uncover the answers for the fans, Disguised Toast asked, “Is this a strategy you and YouTube came up with?” And the YouTube Gaming star slyly replied, “No, I just like messing with my community. Like they really think I’m going to Facebook.”

Talking about the speculation, she adds, “Before my contract ended, like my last few streams, I really was just baiting them. I was like listen, no matter where I go, just know my decision was for myself and my family. I did what’s best for me.”
She later claims that what she said was, in fact, true and highlights, “They just start assuming that it’s gonna be another platform.“, which is justified.
