After his massively successful subathon, Kai Cenat has reached the very peak of the Amazon-owned streaming platform, Twitch. Currently holding the record of the most active subs, surpassing previous top dogs Ludwig and Ninja, Kai is currently the “King of Twitch” and one of the most profitable individuals for the company. 

Although Kai is deemed the “face of the platform” by many, he still hasn’t gotten a contract or incentives for sticking with Twitch. That is why the disappointment was immeasurable and his day was ruined when Twitch send him a care package that, instead of containing a contract, had a pair of shoes. 

Kai Cenat ‘Bamboozled’ by Twitch

Twitch is notorious for skimming out on offering deals to their top creators. Over the years, many big names have opted out of the platform and migrated to other avenues, such as YouTube and more. Even the previous record holder, Ludwig had also chosen this path, as currently, he is a full-time streamer, exclusively for YouTube. 

Kai’s community also had been very vocal about their streamer’s contract. They had shared bold criticisms of Twitch on social media about the matter. That is why when the package arrived everyone had high hopes, but in the end, when Kai opened the box, the smiles dropped as instead of a contract it revealed to have a pair of shoes. 

The shoes appear to be a pair of Nike Air Force 1 with a custom paint job. However, the paint may also be its biggest downfall as the fans exclaimed that “They Ugly as H*ll”.

The Shoebox had a note saying, “Congratulations Kai on your huge accomplishment. We are so proud of you. Laura, Anna, and all of your friends at Twitch.” Kai read that aloud, but the expression of disappointment still lingered on his face. The shoes had custom writings too, that said “King of Twitch” and more. 

The fans couldn’t help but troll Twitch’s absurdity

Fans couldn’t help themselves but laugh and troll the gesture Twitch chose to show appreciation towards their biggest creator. While Kai was expecting an “8-figure” contract and incentives to stay on the platform, what he got was a pair of “Justin Bieber a** shoes,” as exclaimed by a fan.
