IShowSpeed canceled his ticket to the World Cup after Portugal lost the final match in the group stage

The whole world’s eyes are set on the ongoing FIFA World Cup, as it is the grandest soccer festival. Many streamers are hosting watch-along on their livestreams, including IShowSpeed. Speed also planned to visit Qatar to watch the next Portugal matches. However, he faced an enormous blow in the recent game between Portugal and South Korea, as Ronaldo’s team lost that match. However, they had secured the round of 16s spot after winning the first two matches in the group.

But Speed wasn’t aware of this information, somehow. The 17-year-old claimed after Portugal lost to South Korea, “Portugal lost, that means they are not in the World Cup no more.” Speed has newly started following the sport, so we can consider that this reaction is a matter of lack of knowledge. But this unawareness possibly led to Speed canceling his flight, as he said after Portugal’s loss, “I gotta cancel my flight.”

Speed is a secret Lionel Messi fan

IShowSpeed has self-proclaimed himself as a Cristiano Ronaldo fan. As a result, he showcases hate toward Ronaldo’s biggest rival, Lionel Messi. But in reality, Speed secretly admires the Argentine soccer superstar. It came to light after Messi’s incredible goal against Mexico in the World Cup.
