A lot of Fortnite players have hit out at the game, largely focusing on people who are dependent on controllers. So, popular streamer Ninja decided to see what the fuss was about. It wasn’t long before he conceded that gamers using controllers were fairly over-powered (OP). In fact, he and many others are convinced that the controllers have aimbots, which makes gamers’ jobs easier.

The PC versus controller debate has raged for a long time, especially in the Fortnite community. Even though the game is less than three years old, Epic’s acclaimed Battle Royale video game is subjected to constant debate. These only intensified after Epic decided to allow controller players to compete against those using a PC.

In a recent tweet, Ninja observed that the aim assist for controllers is way too over-powered. This is mostly when it is compared to a mouse and keyboard player.

“Just played with a controller on PC for the second time in two days,” Ninja said. “I have competed in several games at a competitive level on both controller and mouse and keyboard. You cannot tell me that with 100% strength aim assist and linear settings that using a controller isn’t aimbot.”

The primary issue is that mouse and keyboard users do not have the luxury of an aim assist. This is mostly because the mouse provides more precise movements. However, Ninja feels that this hands controller players an unfair advantage.

It is worth noting that console players are limited in terms of frame rate, input lag and other graphical settings. On the other end of the spectrum, PC players have most of these caps improved. However, players receive the same level of aim assist. Meanwhile, Ninja believes that the aim assist of PC gamers is too powerful.

Admittedly, numerous PC gamers echoed Ninja’s criticisms and cry foul over unfair advantages. On the flip side, controller players  argue that mouse accuracy far outweigh’s joysticks. Unfortunately, this leaves Epic Games in a massive fix on who to support, because both sides have grievances.
