The Last of Us is a gaming franchise that has been a pathway on how to make a truly immersive zombie apocalypse game without losing the grip on the story or the character development. As HBO Max recently uploaded the trailer for The Last of Us, directed by the game director and Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann and the creator of the Emmy award-winning film Chernobyl, Craig Mazin, fans shared their thoughts on it by showering their love for the characters.

One of the main reasons it is so was because of the inclusion of Troy Baker (Joel from the game) and Ashley Johnson (Ellie in the game), who has returned to the live-action series as well. Apart from this, the TV series also features several lovable characters from the game in a much more ruthless and gruesome avatars.

Also, some fans said that the show will break records. This is mostly because of the fact, the show has a promising premise that is already well-known by gamers and the TLOU community, thus it is bound to do wonders. And secondly, the directors of the series are none other than the makers of the Emmy-winning series Chernobyl and the director of the game themselves.
