Riot Games’ Valorant has become a hot topic in the FPS world. The game recently hosted an exhilarating Masters Tokyo tournament with the best teams duking it out. Twelve pro teams competed for the prize pool of $1 million, with EMEA’s Fnatic coming out on top.

During this tournament’s finals, Riot Games dropped the cinematic for Episode 7 of Valorant. And it is a game changer, to say the least. The new Episode will contain many gameplay changes and new weapon skins. The most exciting announcement, however, remained the arrival of a new agent, Deadlock.

Riot Games drop the cinematic for Valorant Episode 7

Episode 07: EVOLUTION of Valorant featured a team of mercenaries going to Svalbard, Norge, to retrieve a crate for travel. The facility, however, seems to be running on reserve power and without response to comms, foreboding a calamity. The team enters the facility despite this to encounter a mutated bear-like creature. The team battles it out to survive and in the end, one agent survives at the cost of her forearm.

This agent is none other than Valorant’s latest Sentinel-type agent, Deadlock. She is then later revealed to be getting a prosthetic arm from another Sentinel-type agent Killjoy. Both talk over the fine-tuning of her new arm with Deadlock concluding with “When do we leave?”

This hyped-up dialogue from the new agent at the end has entranced the fans. They quickly want to try the new agent and the new powersets she is bringing with her. Along with a new agent, Valorant is dropping new skins like the Digihex Skinline, Composite Skinline, and Blush Skinline. Furthermore, new player cards, gun buddy, and spray are also arriving.

The fans of the Valorant lore and the new agents are loving this new agent. Coming from Norge, she has caught the attention of all FPS fans.

Furthermore, fans are praising the artistic approach of the cinematic. They are demanding Valorant should expand on this and deliver a show.
