Apex Legends maestro ImperialHal has shared wisdom for budding players as the in-game rank system currently sits at its worst spot.

On May 11, 2023, Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends walked into its 17th season. It was the last opportunity for devs to fix the game, as the community was tired of bugs and other issues. So, season 17 was one of the most anticipated, and it turned out well. After all, the L-Star walked back to the ground from the vault, followed by some major changes to weapons, operator abilities, maps, etc.

However, one of the most important things of the game took a pitfall, with pros exploiting the feature. It was the in-game rank system that reached its lowest, pushing fans’ disappointment to the peak. So, ImperialHal, the TSM pro, laid down some things that players could do to seize the opportunity.

How to get better at Apex Legends? – Tips from ImperialHal

The Apex pros recently voiced their opinion about the ranked system, as they considered it the worst. This was because the community was upset over the fact that players with 1 kill and 2nd position earned more points compared to someone with 10+ kills, but a lower position. And given the fact they went all out in the matches, this was given.

Amidst that, ImperialHal chimed in to send out a message. In his May 14 tweet, Philip Dosen said, “Number 1 Tip to Improve in Apex Legends: Since the Ranked system has very little punishment for dying early due to low entry cost this is the perfect opportunity to take as many fights as possible Solo Que or not. Improve your gun skill/Fundamentals to become the best.”

With the rank system charging very less RP for an early exit, Dosen urged players to get better at the game. After all, Apex Legends’ rank system has become quite trivial compared to before, with players tryharding all the time.

Previously, it was easier for average players to walk into Diamond rank, but now, even Platinum sets out the tough competition. And now, with the rank system going through changes, players could improve their skills by gaming like they would in a public game.

ImperialHal has been vocal about his feelings regarding Apex Legends lately. This is because the pro recently took a break, penning down his thoughts about every bad thing in the game. So, the real question is, will Respawn Entertainment acknowledge this and take action?
