However, Larian Studios took a very different path with Baldur’s Gate 3, and fans can’t be happier with the decision. The devs have declared that no in-game purchases or micro-transactions exist in the latest Dungeons & Dragons tabletop RPG. Larian also claims that this will not deter any fan from enjoying the game fully.

Understandably, the absence of micro-transactions in the game has left fans overjoyed with how Larian has decided to go ‘old-school’ with its newest offering.

User ‘Scorthyn’ claims that there are still devs who put the players first and such studios should be given all the support by the community. In the Gazette, the devs elaborate on how the party-based Dungeons & Dragons will play.
