Markiplier didn’t have the time he needed

During the early days of his career, Markiplier was seen regularly playing Five Nights at Freddy’s. Understandably, the game and the gamer quickly developed a connection. With a movie finally being based on the game, speculations were rife about seeing the streamer as part of the cast. However, the rumors didn’t materialize. While fans were disappointed, there might be more reasons than a deterring mindset from the film’s producers.

Markplier announced Iron Lung weeks ago. The movie would see the streamer’s debut as a director and naturally has become the central thing of his life in recent times. It’s been revealed that his schedule didn’t permit him to be a part of the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie and the role of Mike Schmidt was thus handed over to Josh Hutcherson. However, fans do hope that the streamer will fold in the future and make time to be part of something that brought him fame.

Five Nights at Freddy’s was released in 2014 and was a smash hit among fans thanks to its relatively simple gameplay. The point-and-click survival horror told the story of a deranged family of serial killers who owned pizza chains across the country during the 1980s. The existence of horror in a seemingly safe place caught players off guard and Mike Schmidt became a cult character overnight. The night manager strived to untangle the mystery and was finally able to bring an end to the horrific murders.

Markiplier loves working shifts at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. So much so, that he even got his mother to get on a live stream with him once and the duo were seen having a blast playing Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, the fifth entry to the series. Markiplier was seen guiding his mom through the game and it was just wholesome.

His mother’s expressions were hilarious but the community was too overwhelmed by their chemistry to take notice of her novice play style. Overall, it was one of the most incredible moments in streaming and we’d want more of it!
