But not anymore. This Kickstarter project called the Flux Keyboard is here to give gaming keyboards the love that they deserved. With their redefining innovation, Flux has managed to make keyboards, a piece of visual marvel. With a large color screen, one can play anything they desire on the keyboard while typing on its new mechanical switch technology.

New revolution in the world of Gaming Keyboard

Remember the futuristic keyboards in the Minority Report and Marvel’s superhero movies? Well this is the closest thing we have to them. While it may not be possible to swap it in the mid-air, with its clear key deck and HD screen underneath, users can make it look however they want.

The Keyboard presents a huge array of customization options. With a single gesture, users can change the input in each key. One can change the language or set an emoji keyboard if one wants. Controlling the music is also an option as there are knobs and visual reparations of volume and other aspects present on the Keyboard. 

According to the official Kickstarter page, “Until now, keyboards have not reached their full potential. Keyboards are tactile, but powerful shortcuts are hidden behind unchanging keys. Touchscreens are adaptable but are prone to misclicks and can’t be used by feel. The Flux Keyboard combines the best of both worlds.”

The keyboard also offers in-depth mechanics dedicated to gaming. These features include, “Adjustable Actuation Point” where users can configure the key press triggers in 0.1mm increments; and “Rapid Trigger” With this, users can configure the key release factors in cases of rapid repeated keystrokes. 

The fans are hyped about the Keyboard!

Reputed internet journalist Jake Lucky shared the keyboard on his official Twitter page, saying, “This keyboard could change everything…” Gamers and keyboard enthusiasts soon poured into the comments to show their excitement and hype about the keyboard. 

The Kickstarter page has currently gone way past its goal of $135,000. It has managed to accumulate more than $2 million. One can get a keyboard by December 2023, if they pledge $349 on the Kickstarter page.
