Multiple fans are tuning in every day to watch Valorant Champions 2023. The matchups between the top sixteen teams from around the world have become a source of entertainment for the fans. With a prize pool of $2,250,000, the competitive spirit of all teams is at an all-time high.
Each team is employing new strategies with their agents as the tournament is progressing. Halfway through the tournament, however, this agent has still not come forward in any of the matches. Unfortunately, the agent used zero times is also the latest agent from Valorant.

Valorant pro players are yet to use this agent in Champions 2023
Valorant Champions 2023 is halfway completed with only six teams remaining. Even after 28 matches of the tournament, however, Deadlock is yet to be used by pro players. All other agents have been used at least once by players. Apart from Deadlock, Phoenix is the other agent players are refraining from using.
When Deadlock first arrived in the game, it immediately became the talk of the town. The Deadlock ult was considered too overpowered as no one could escape it in a 1v1. Furthermore, Barrier Mesh and Sonic Sensor provide fans with a great tactical advantage over enemies. Despite Deadlock’s overpowered abilities, players have opted not to use it.
However, this fact can change in the latter half of the tournament. It can be speculated teams are refraining from using Deadlock to save their strategies for it for the big matches. But the fans believe the latest agent of Valorant is not made for competitive play.
Fans drop their mixed reaction for the least-used agent in Champions 2023
Multiple fans have come forward to share their opinions on the low usage of Deadlock. A fan believes Riot Games needs to revamp the ability power sets of many agents to make it a fair fight for all. The fan commented about Deadlock, saying, “Worst agent in the game. Buff Deadlock, Phoenix, and Yoru. Nerf Jett, Raze, and Killjoy. Rework Chamber and everything is good.”
