Controversy struck again during the Valorant Champions Tour 2023. The team Noot Noot is currently at the center of an uproar in the Valorant Game Changers community. Allegations of cheating surrounded them at the VCT 2023. They experienced a lengthy tech pause during their lower bracket match against Complexity GX3 on October 5. Following this pause, Riot Anti-Cheat flagged team Noot Noot for suspicious activity.

As a result, Riot Competitive Operations initiated a full investigation into the matter, and Noot Noot received a forfeit loss. Although damage control was initiated, it was already too late for other players.

The Valorant Game Changers tournament hosts a global championship for promoting more opportunites for women and other marginalized genders in Valorant. Noot Noot, a North American Valorant team, faced disqualification from the Valorant Game Changers tournament following cheating allegations against one of their players. The incident occurred during their third game against GX3. The cheating allegations came to light after a remarkable clutch play by Malibu in round 2 of the match. This is where they eliminated four members of GX3 in suspiciously quick succession.

This led to a two-hour pause in the match. However, very little information was provided initially about the delay. They ultimately announced Noot Noot’s forfeiture of the match due to the cheating allegations, resulting in the cancellation of the series. Riot Games communicated the official decision to fans via X (formerly Twitter).
