Fortnite hosted a massive event on June 30, 2018, showing off the rocket launch. The skyrocket took off from the villain Lair and sprung around the map until a message popped up on everyone’s screen saying, “Zero Point Oscillators On, Setting Coordinates…”

During this time, players built a massive sky base to enjoy the show alongside their friends. However, that wasn’t the case for Elemental Ray, as he had a different plan altogether. While his opponents celebrated the launch of the airship, Ray simply broke down the entire sky bridge. As a result, he bagged 48 overall kills as players just dropped like rain.
This ultimately created chaos in the Fortnite community, as his unnecessary move irked fans. While the first half supported his stunt, the others developed hate, as he ruined a beautiful event for them. His supporters weren’t wrong till a point, as Fortnite is a battle royale game where the last man standing is a winner.
So, Ray did what any player would do if they were in a normal game. However, the people that hated him also had a valid point, as they could’ve done the same but chose the high road. Now, let’s see how fans reacted to this.
