The popular American gaming giant Electronic Arts are likely to release a brand new installment in Need for Speed series in a couple of months. But the one thing that has upset the fans is the development of this game was paused because the devs at Criterion Games needed to work on the recent 2021 release Battlefield 2042. In fact, this upcoming game’s development was given a break during the summer of the year 2021 because of Battlefield 2042.

One fan seems to be temporarily done with EA titles thanks to BF 2042.
Its a sad state of affairs as I won't be purchasing any EA titles for a while. It could get a 10/10, but I'll just wait until it comes to gamepass. No way I'm getting burned again 😂

Man they had so many people from elsewhere work on BF2042 yet it still launched the way it did with lack of content, no single-player campaign, technical glitches galore, and no first season for months.
