Fans have grown to love and adore it. The emote contains a rather interesting shanty that signifies everything that happens inside the Battle Royale Island.

The new emote, ‘Shanty for Squadmate’, has become the trend of the town. It costs merely 500 V bucks in the shop and it serves as a group emote for players to boost morale.

Fortnite added their own twist to the Wellerman Sea Shanty

This emote accurately depicts everything that a fan feels about the title. It carries every single emotion that has certainly thrilled the fans. Epic Games took on this endeavor following the success of Nathan Evans’s sea shanty that took over the world.

It became the top trending song on Tiktok and other social media platforms as well. So far, the official video of the song has fetched over 4 million views. Now, Fortnite too has decided to add its own essence to it.

The developers came up with an amazing version of the Wellerman shanty that the community can gladly claim as their very own. It incorporated every aspect of the Battle Royale title, right from being dropped by Battle Bus. to the last battle at the end circle.

The Shanty covers pretty much everything the title offers, and it can be sung in a group. If one player pulls out the emote, he would become the lonesome voice who would sing the shanty by banging the drum. If other players follow you up with their own Shanty emote, then it will turn into a magnificent group shanty version.

Each player can join in on the song, making the atmosphere of the game akin to the pirate group shanties in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag and Odyssey.
