For skateboarding fans, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series has always been a treat to enjoy. This popular skateboard simulator franchise released its latest installment, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, in 2020 on various platforms like PC (Epic Games), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and in 2021 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. But Steam fans were exempted from having this fun.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a remastered version of the first two versions of the series: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. So, it’s a no-brainer that this game is going to be absolutely a blast. But after being unable to enjoy this blast for three years, Steam fans might have some good news.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is coming to Steam next week.

The official Twitter handle of the game has recently announced that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is coming to Steam on October 3, 2023. Although the game was available on PC through Epic Games, getting it on Steam is like getting everything in one place.

The first two series of the game have always been classics. These two started the realm of skateboard simulation games in the gaming world. So, these two titles had to make a comeback in today’s world. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, after being released in 2020, became the fastest-selling installment in the series, with one million units sold in a record time span.

There were another two remakes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 on the cards. However, after the merger deal between Activision and Microsoft, the plan for the remake was canceled.

System Requirements

Despite a 2020 release, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 runs smoothly on any 2015 GPU. If we talk about today’s games like Starfield or Final Fantasy 16, those cards are fossils. But those cards will easily give you an awesome gameplay experience in Pro Skater 1+2. However, there is no confirmation if they could be played on the Steam Deck too.
