The Battlefield 2042 developers have finally decided to add an update to their game, and fans are really loving it. Battlefield 2042 came out late in 2021 as the latest title of the series. This helped its developers earn a massive revenue as the game sold millions of copies in the first few weeks.

As a result, the devoted fans constantly complained about not finding players to match up in the game. On the other hand, the franchise also suffered a heavy blow, as they could barely pass their sales mark.

So, with fresh hopes of turning the game’s future, DICE decided to drop some massive updates and improve the game entirely.

Battlefield 2042 is set out to drop a new update in August, with “Update 1.2” as the name. However, the franchise has not revealed its every secret, other than a few details here and there.

To mention a few details, the futuristic addition will feature more cover points, larger areas of interest, and smooth and improved gameplay. Apart from this, it will also allow players to have much more place to reset and get back into battle, as the developers claimed it to be scattered.

New Stats Page

With the new map announcement, DICE is also adding a new player stats page, giving players a better gaming experience. The franchise has claimed about the player stats being tracked since launch and will finally allow users to view them in-game.

Nerfs and Improvements

DICE has promised an improved Battlefield experience to fans, as they have relentlessly worked for the upcoming update. They have balanced out the guns that seemed to be overpowered and nerfed the Stealth chopper K30 and BSVM. Apart from this, their community manager has confirmed pulling out the aim assist bug on consoles that affected gameplay.
