This game is a perfect example of being an underrated gem. Great medieval visuals, a deep narrative, and endearing character interactions make this a perfect comfort game for every JRPG fan. The combat is also top-notch with a fantastic background score. So if you love games like Xenoblade and Genshin Impact, do consider giving Shining Resonance Refrain a shot.

Initially, I am Setsuna was not a hidden gem in any sense. The game had a moderate following, but as the console progressed, people stopped talking about this game. I am Setsuna is a game very much inspired by the legendary Choro Trigger. With similar combat styles and visuals, this game is the perfect one for all gamers who want to relive the golden times.

3. Fight’N Rage

If you like old-school pixelated arcade games like street fighter and Contra, then this is the one for you! Fignt’N Rage gives that sweet 90s pixelated beat ’em up game vibes with some modern touches. The game is a treat for the eyes and the old-school soundtrack will melt every player’s heart with nostalgia. 

2. Remilore Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore

Remilore Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore is one of the best Diablo clones on Nintendo Switch. With impressive visuals mixed with an amazing art style and a plethora of items to collect Remilore will hook you up with your Switch for hours. 

1. Dead or School

This game is probably the most interesting one on the list. Imagine a Metroidvania mixed with Diablo. Yes, you heard it right! Dead or school is an anime platformer that has a progressive build system. The game on the surface may look like a very cliche clickbait title, but underneath it’s a fine quality game that absolutely deserves to be added to your library.
