However, not every gamer is a console lover and the team at PlayStation is very much aware of this fact. That’s why The Last of Us Part I remake was also confirmed for a PC release as well following a debut on the PS5. But there was no official news regarding an exact launch timing for the PC version, until now.

The Last of Us Part I won’t take long to arrive on PC after the PlayStation 5 remake, confirms Naughty Dog employee
Since last year, Sony has shown interest in bringing its best PS exclusives to the PC platform. Microsoft has been doing it already for years now.
When it comes to the PlayStation catalog, there’s no doubt about the fact that the popular series of consoles has got some of the most widely acclaimed IPs in the world. Considering that and also the inevitable popularity of PC gaming, Sony is now actively making a push to provide all of its recent exclusives for PC players.

God of War was released earlier this year and the next month will see Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man arriving on PCs as well. The month after that will see the awaited launch of The Last of Us Part I remake for the PlayStation 5. However, we now also know when the PC version of the remake will make its way.

Recently, an employee working at Naughty Dog shared a massive update regarding the anticipated remake on Twitter. Jonathan Benainous, who’s the Senior Environment Texture Artist, gave a much-needed clarity on The Last of Us Part I’s PC release window.

While replying to a fan who seemed hyped for TLOU coming to PC, Benainous mentioned that the port would arrive sooner than later following the debut of the PS5 remake. “Glad to hear you’re hyped man! PC version should come out a bit later, but very soon after the PS5 release!” he wrote.

With that, many of the PC gamers can now take a deep breath of relief. Those who thought that the game was about to get pushed further after the PS5 release can rejoice. The PC port won’t take long to make its way and will launch soon, as per the latest update coming straight from the Naughty Dog employee.
