The American eSports organization, FaZe Clan has been going through quite a rough time. From revolting internal members to plummeting stocks, the Clan is doing its best to stay afloat. But in these hard times, one of the core content creators and pro players of the organization, FaZe Rain, has publicly threatened to leave the company unless one of the OG members is removed from his position. 

FaZe Rain was a COD trick shot specialist and a prominent member of the Clan. While he has a reputation for being bashful about his life decisions and suffering from substance abuse, in recent times, Rain has shown a lot of improvement in his condition. He has been one of the key figures behind the FaZe Clan drama.

FaZe Rain threatens to leave the FaZe Clan over a joke 

Recently, the official Twitter account of the FaZe clan made a joke Tweet. Following the ongoing trend of asking the followers to peep into the image description. FaZe made a Tweet featuring an image with the ALT text “Apex is short,” poking fun at a fellow clan member and content creator, FaZe Apex.

But the joke wasn’t taken so lightly by all the members. FaZe Rain threatened in the comments, saying, “Yeah, I’m leaving FaZe until we publicly kick CBass Fu*king Loser.” While some fans believe this may have been a joke by Rain, the recent critical comments that Rain made about CBass suggest the opposite. 

In a video made in March, Rain said CBass is “part of the problem and why FaZe has been dying.” But that is not it; he had also said, ” CBass has been compliant with every single person who has tried to hurt FaZe and sell FaZe out and make money off FaZe,” pointing at the director of social media, CBass, as the biggest problem for the Clan.

“And you’ve done it for a salary and a position at FaZe that you feel comfortable with,” added Rain. Similar comments were also made by other prominent FaZe members. FaZe Teeqo had said, “Someone else can come in as late as last year, who’s not from this industry, never lifted a finger for FaZe, probably didn’t even know what FaZe was, and get three times the amount of shares that I have, and an annual salary that’s more money than I’ve ever been paid by FaZe.” FaZe Adapt has also given a similar outlook on the situation.

In the end, we can’t be sure if Rain was serious or joking. But the fact that FaZe Clan is in a serious condition is becoming more and more apparent every single day. If the organization doesn’t figure out a solution soon, the future could be very grim.
