Every year, Apex Legends host a year-round circuit featuring the best teams from around the globe. The competition challenges the best of the best to feature their skills and become the number one team. 

And while multiple teams participate in this prestigious event, all eyes are fixed on one squad. After all, they hold one of the most influential players in the industry – ImperialHal. Also known as the CEO of Apex30, Hal ranks among the top players. Fans love his wit and eagle-eyed vision as he scans the map just like the ‘bloodhound.’ The Wraith main leads the TSM squad as the best IGL of Apex Legends. 

But in 2022, Hal, as well as TSM, faced significant backlash over their poor performance. So, to overcome the obstacle and do what they did best, the squad crushed Split 1 Grand Finals. Apparently, they walked off with a flashy cash prize, along with Hal making a Kobe reference.

After a massive loss in 2022, the TSM squad had one of the best comebacks. They walked out with the trophy and 300,000 USD out of the million-dollar prize pool. On top of that, the squad also added 500 Playoff points, a safety net until the final championship.

This information stunned the Apex Legends world as they were happy to see the CEO back in form. Plus, it was high time he took control, as TSM was one of the only teams to win back-to-back LANs. 

While the community celebrated this win, Hal added some extra spice as the topping. He went on to make a Kobe Bryant reference from a decade back. He took to his Twitter to say, ‘Jobs not over.’ The comment took his fans back in time as Bryant had said it out loud after the second game at the 2009 NBA finals. And well, Hal was just back in form after the first Split, so there was a long way to go. 

Last but not least, TSM’s performance was one of the best examples to prove the quote that one should not give up until the final minute. The squad was far from the match point, but they rose like a phoenix, flying away the cash prize.
