“Arena is Free” not only destroys his opponents, but he also throws extra emotional damage to them. In the finisher screen, if a player chooses to refrain from killing their opponent, it is deemed as ‘Mercy’. Although what “Arena is Free” does is technically mercy, compared to his actions, players would choose a gory death.

Instead of finishing his opponents, our Mortal Kombat legend “turbo teabags after every win and then just leaves”. Teabagging is an act where the player rapidly crouches using their characters, indicating a problematic gesture. This act is considered one of the most offensive gestures in the gaming community. 

“Arena is Free” is the “Let Me Solo Her” of MK?

Before Mortal Kombat, many other games also had prodigies like “Arena is Free”. The most recent of them is the legendary Elden Ring player known as, “Let Me Solo Her”. With a pot on his head and white underwear, wielding two blades and jumping around manically, “Let Me Solo Her” is the bane of Malenia, the strongest boss in the game.
