In the interview, he said “If you ask about Felix, I’d say I’m excited for Felix. If you look at the situation he is in, he’s getting to do stuff there, you know our policies, we’re not letting him do. It gives him the flexibility and freedom to explore his creative expression. You should be able to explore and figure out what’s the right platform for the right things and of course when somebody big leaves there is a lot of press and all that. But my real belief is that there are tons of streamers out there and as they try and explore different platforms, that’s good for them.”

Clancy’s words present a logical argument, given Twitch’s recent policy hammer. As Twitch tightens its policies, a lot of streamers looked at alternative options to keep their creative spaces open. Moreover, it is important to note xQc has not fully moved over to Kick.

The deal he signed with Kick was a non-exclusive one, meaning he can still stream on other platforms. He continues to stream regularly on both Twitch and Kick at the moment. This might indicate different content coming on different platforms. On Twitch, xQc would create content within their guidelines, whilst on Kick, he may explore more options in terms of content.
It remains an exciting period indeed for xQc, with his move being amongst the biggest in streaming. Only time will tell what it means for his content.
