That was also the case recently when a Twitch streamer by the name of Katie (@kakarikokatie), had a special Animal Crossing-inspired cake topper for her wedding. Notably, this becomes even more interesting when the cake topper actually starts replicating the real-life images of the newly married couples.
Twitch streamer has adorable Animal Crossing cake topper for her wedding
In the tweet by Katie, she shared a picture of two Animal Crossing human characters as a cake topper, wearing wedding dresses and holding hands. Although it was surprising that she actually shared an image of the topper 6 months back, fans were waiting eagerly for her to reveal her bridal dress for her AC avatar.
Ryan and I got married yesterday, so I can finally share the whole cake topper 💕
Okay yall asked for it!! I had to cover up my dress bc it’s a 🌟surprise🌟 but I will NEVER get over this cake topper
Later, it was disclosed that her avatar’s bridal dress was actually inspired by her real wedding dress, that’s why she was taking precautions to not reveal the special dress.
With her friends, fans, and family congratulating her, it was really adorable to see the couple enjoy their wedding with such a die-hard Animal Crossing memento.
But like look how identical it is to our actual outfits?? Go love on her shop y’all
Notably, the couple also recreated the figurine pose in real life after holding hands with each other during the celebrations. In another tweet, she also thanked LootreArt on Etsy for making this adorable cake topper.
I commissioned it from LootreArt on Etsy :)
Additionally, LootreArt is well known for making such figurines for weddings and has quite a knack for them.
How did everyone reply to the tweet?
The comments section after the reveal was flooded with pictures of wedding cakes having ACNH cake toppers and various other varieties of them. Along with this someone even regretted not having a similar figurine for their own wedding as well.
Not animal crossing themed. But here was ours.
Adorable. And Congratulations! My son and daughter-in-law also had an excellent cake topper. I wonder if it was the same artist!
While some shared more such figurines, many congratulated the new wed bride and groom with positive comments and well wishes. Notably, after her post on Twitter, Katie went viral and had almost 425K+ likes on her tweet at the time of this article.
We had one like this too!
That's so cute. My wife and I had this one done. Not animal crossing but a similar cute style.
