Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is a well-known name in the gaming and streaming community. The 25-year-old Moroccan-Canadian has gained a massive following on the internet with her variety of streams, with over 8.9 million followers on Twitch.
Apart from gaming, Pokimane’s community also enjoys the purple platform star’s entertaining vlogs. Pokimane recently released her latest one, showcasing the award-winning streamer’s trip to New York City. While the entire video has been well-received by the fans, what caught the eye of every viewer was Pokimane’s wholesome interaction with the staff while enjoying a meal.

Pokimane: Twitch steamer’s first trip to New York City
The OfflineTV star shared her very first experience of the famous NYC with her fans on Valentine’s Day. Or as she called it, “happy simpin’ day”. She shared her entire journey of different experiences with her friends. That featured her recent stream icon, Kevin, Luminosity streamer xChocoBars, and many more.
In the vlog, the Twitch streamer also gave scores out of ten to various eating joints and restaurants. But the special one has to be when the group visited ‘The Dolar Shop’, a renowned food chain.
While dining at the restaurant, Pokimane inquired with one of the staff members if they watch streams on Twitch. She went on to ask, “What games do you play?”, and to her surprise, the server answered, “Valorant”. Excitedly, Pokimane explained how she and her friends enjoy playing Valorant as well. The two then bonded and talked more about the FPS game.

On the other hand, another one of the other servers was shocked to see Pokimane. He was seemingly star-struck and questioned the Twitch star, “Are you Poki?”, as per Imane herself. The third server was also astonished and “shy” to meet Pokimane, and the streamer and her friend adored his reaction. Pokimane, talking to the server, said, “It’s okay, Andy. Don’t be shy.”
Imane Anys thoroughly enjoyed her dining experience at The Dolar Store, rating it 9/10. She complimented the restaurant later on in the video and commended the servers.
Pokimane also revealed what Andy shared with her. He told her that, “meeting you guys was like the best [laughs]… the best present”, according to the streamer. Of course, she loved what Andy had to say and highlighted, “It was the cutest **** ever, man. Had me tearin’.”
