Popular Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has always been against unorthodox methods of earning money. She has turned down deals worth millions of dollars in the past, keeping in mind her reputation. She does believe in sponsorships but will accept nothing that might prove risky.

A prime example of this was the multi-million dollar sponsorship brought to Pokimane’s doorstep by fellow Youtuber Reckful.

The sponsorship was worth $3 million, where the streamer had to do a challenge given by him. Looking at the uncertainty of the outcome, Poki quickly turned down the deal. It clearly shows that she is more concerned about her character and position in the gaming industry rather than a couple of million dollars.

Pokimane is one of the oldest names in the gaming industry. She started by streaming League of Legends and moved on to other games in the future. Today, she is one of the most followed female Twitch streamers, with 9.1 million followers.

During her time in the industry, she has made lots of friends on her way. Some of the popular names include xQc, Valkyrae, Sykunno, and Ludwig. But not all of them are focused on gaming, as we’ve seen a handful stick to online gambling.

Last night, Pokimane uploaded a video on her meme channel talking about gambling sponsorships. At the beginning of the video, she revealed how her friends tried to convince her into sponsorships worth millions. She said, ‘listen I’ve had a lot of friends even tell me that they have a number right. Is it three million a month is it five is it ten? Most people have a number.’

Then, she went on comparing herself to her friend Ludwig, who put out a statement saying he does not have a price for online gambling. To support her statement, she said, ‘if I’m making 5 million because I know my viewers are losing 10 million, the guilt would eat me alive.’ It just shows how much the female streamer is against earning money from gambling.

Later in the video, she challenged ‘Steak’ to give her $100 million just to watch her decline the offer swiftly.
