Elon Musk’s Twitter deal sparks a whole new conversation amongst Twitch streamers

As mentioned above, the major issue with Twitch is its arbitrary nature of implying guidelines on their streamers in a very biased way. This was the case for DrDisrespect who was under contract with the streaming platform. Doc has been quite vocal about this issue and had even planned on taking this battle to the court.

However, in a recent few weeks, news had started coming out that the Doc and Twitch have come to a resolution and there would not be any legal proceedings thereafter. While the authenticity of this news is very sketchy to believe, it is really hard to tell what is happening behind the scene.

Initially, the case was Doc not being aware of the reason for his ban. However, it seems like Doc now knows the reason for his ban but would not like his fanbase to know about the same. This ambiguity behind the entire scenario is what sparks conversations like the Tweet above.

Furthermore, this ban had also resulted in umpteen losses for the Doc as he was being shadow banned by several gaming giants. Indeed, this is one of the dark sides of Twitch that no one would like to fall into.
