

Sometimes Twitch becomes synonymous with drama and this year’s TwitchCon had no shortage of it. From life-threatening accidents to a lack of management, the convention faced a lot of backlashes this time; And now even the streamers hopped in the wagon.

Twitch streamer Tyler aka “Trainwreckstv” replied to a tweet that was going viral. The viral tweet featured a video of security personnel at San Diego TwitchCon 2022. In the video, she shared how traumatizing the experience was for her.
She criticized the attendees who were supposedly “abusive” and “entitled”. Tyler shared his thoughts in the replies and slammed these attendees by calling them “selfish” and “greedy” among other things.

Trainwreck criticizes the crowd for ill-treating the staffs during TwitchCon
The video that Tyler reacted to was posted on Twitter by GUARD Hunter. In the video, we could see a security personnel sharing the experience she had with the crowd at TwitchCon. She said that the attendees “verbally abused” the staff. She expressed relief by saying, “Thank God it is over.”

In the conversation, she mentioned the demographic that attended the convention was mostly composed of younger people. She said, “The staff was great. Yeah, just, they (attendees) were climbing on stuff, and I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ It was a (younger) crowd. These two were pretty young, and I said, ‘You treat your mother’s house like this?’, and were like, ‘Bleh.’”

Tyler reacted to this tweet by reprimanding this “entitled” crowd. He said, “the entire event is a circle j*rk of insecure corrupt losers trying to relive high school how they think it should’ve went”. He even called out other big streamers of Twitch by saying, “The “good guys” of twitch are mostly selfish greedy assholes behind close doors and it shows from their vocal minority part of their communities.”

How did fans react to Tyler’s comment?
Trainwreck is mostly known for his slot and gambling streams. But after the recent drama, Twitch has decided to ban gambling on its platform. So some of the fans are speculating that Tyler’s aggressive reaction is the result of his frustration. As he is unable to make any more gambling content.
