Last month was a very sad time for the Minecraft community as they lost an excellent streamer called Technoblade. The American streamer was famous for his content related to Minecraft and also for his association with Dream SMP.

Dream SMP is an invite-only Minecraft multiplayer server created by Minecraft streamers Dream and GeorgeNotFound. Many Minecraft streamers and other internet personalities who played the game joined the server and played a fictionalized version of themselves in the game. Further, there was also a storyline to this game mode.

Initially, Dream and GeorgeNotFound made this server to have fun with friends. But after the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, it got more attention. So, the founders invited more players to make the game’s story fun. Also, Dream SMP became the most successful Minecraft web series.

Remembering Technoblade at the Twitch Con

The purple video streaming platform hosted the TwitchCon event 2022 in Amsterdam recently. Many Twitch streamers came to the event to meet with fans. But TwitchCon 2022 had a special event for every Minecraft fan. They had a reunion event for the Dream SMP members.

TwitchCon 2022 invited some of the Dream SMP members, TommyInnit, Wilbur Soot, Philza, Tubbo, Jack Manifold, Ranboo, and Nihachu, to attend the event. Further, two other members, Karl and Quackity, also made a brief appearance at the event.

The Dream SMP squad’s TwitchCon session was nearly one hour long. During their session, those Minecraft streamers talked about their famous invite-only multiplayer server or how they became successful streamers.

After the hour-long conversation, the host asked for everyone to talk about the legendary Minecraft streamer Technoblade who passed away last month after battling cancer for over a year. Technoblade was also a part of Dream SMP, and it must have been sad news for every member when they found out.

Dream SMP member Philza even shared his thoughts about Technoblade, “He was the best really. He was just so cool, effortlessly cool. And good at video games.” Finally, the host asked everyone present there to clap for Technoblade, and everyone stood up to honor the late streamer and clapped as loud as they could.
