The much-awaited Season 6 in Fortnite Chapter 2 dropped on March 16th. Epic introduced us to the new ‘Primal’ themed season with the Zero Point Finale solo mission. People playing the new season for the first time will notice a wide array of changes. Season 6 has given the game a complete overhaul from the introduction of a crafting tab, animals, primal weapons, and loads of physical changes to the map. All these changes took place after the Zero Point released a reality wave that struck the map of Fortnite, erasing all technological progress.

Most people have appreciated Epic’s take on a primal version of Fortnite. @IvRecluse tweeted “The Primal stuff is fun.” Furthermore, @EthanWi27291509 agrees by saying “It really does be fire tho.”

However, @blindpods thought he could do a better job designing Season 6. He Tweeted “how to make season 6 good: Bring back mechs remove all servers and bring Antarctica servers Buff aim assist Remove turbo building just my opinion please dont hate!”

Some users even poked fun at how Fortnite tried to make the ending of Season 5 somewhat emotional as he posted these memes.

SypherPK reacts to the new Fortnite season

Fortnite YouTuber and professional player SypherPK also took to Twitter to react to the new Season. He wrote, “FORTNITE SEASON 6 IS LOOKING STACKED.” However, following this he has asked for the Primal Shotgun to be nerfed. In his recent YouTube upload, he described it as “extremely dangerous to fight against.”

Other users agreed with Sypher in that the hard-hitting and rapid-firing primal shotgun is ‘overpowered’.@Bkats113 replied to Sypher saying “Destroyed by primal shotgun.”

Despite all the positive responses Season 6 has received, it also has its fair share of critics. After Sypher asked for people’s opinion on the new season, there were many comments that described it as ‘bad’ or ‘trash’. This indicates that no matter what Epic does they cannot satisfy everyone.

Many users like @auto_matics have not gotten a chance to play the new season yet as they are busy with other obligations. He wrote, “haven’t played yet because too busy with school.”
