Earlier this month, a classification board delivered a promising update regarding the release of the Uncharted 4 remaster. Now, yet another classification body has brought forth some interesting news. However, unlike the previous hints, the latest one might be disappointing for the fans, as the reports suggest The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will not launch with the beloved multiplayer mode.

Uncharted 4: Legacy of Thieves to not launch with multiplayer
The remastered bundle debuted at PlayStation Showcase 2021 for PC and PS5 and will come with revamped versions of A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy. In early November, it also received a rating from the Australian Classification Board, which hinted at an early release for next year.

Now, ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rating board suggests the new title will not launch with “No Interactive Elements.” This means the title will not provide players a means to interact with other players online. If true, this might be a huge disappointment for those waiting for the highly anticipated title.
Multiplayer has been a fan-favorite in previous titles, with some regarding it as one of the most interesting competitive multiplayer modes. Naughty Dog received high praises for their co-op survival mode in Lost Legacy as well.
Campaign Mode
According to many fans of the franchise and critics as well, the Uncharted series has one of the most thrilling storylines compared to its action-adventure adversaries. Both the characters, Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer, fit the narratives flawlessly. Hopefully, the devs are able to do the titles justice with their new editions.
Irrespective of the multiplayer and the delays, if any come up in the near future, PlayStation 5 customers will get the chance to try out the game before PC-based players get their hands on the new bundle.
