Nintendo has done a pretty good job this year in terms of releasing impressive games for the Switch. Most of the big launches like Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Switch Sports, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land have succeeded in swaying the fans. The recently launched Splatoon 3 is another example of Nintendo’s sheer dominance in 2022.
The Mario maker also recently revealed the much-awaited Direct event while showcasing new content which is arriving soon for the players. The event had some relevant news for various games, but there was no announcement for the next major hardware. Now it looks like Nintendo might be keeping its big surprise reserved for 2023.

Nintendo Switch Pro might be revealed in 2023 along with The Legend of Zelda sequel
YouTuber Zach from the channel SwitchForce is popular for covering and sharing important information about Nintendo. In one of his recent videos, he mentioned that the developer could be preparing for a huge reveal of the next Switch successor. Not a completely new hardware though, but a strong enhancement in the form of a Switch Pro model.

They did it by bridging the Twilight Princess from GameCube to Wii, and then Breath of the Wild from Wii to Switch. Going by this pattern, 2023’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may bring the news of a brand new Switch Pro, according to Zach.

Moreover, Zach also mentioned that older console models are also expected to be launched next year. GameBoy and GameBoy Advanced, along with the GameCube, might be unveiled in the coming months. They will surely add a boost to the Switch Pro to generate more hype among the fans.
Speaking of what’s available currently, then Switch players have got a new title to enjoy in Splatoon 3. Following its massive debut last week, the game has gained amazing reactions so far. Plus, it’s also become the biggest selling Nintendo game of all time in Japan in the first three days of release.
