Recently, one industry insider noticed an interesting detail about the anticipated game.

Major leaks suggest God of War: Ragnarok might be on its way to release in 2022!

Wario64 is one of the popular insiders on social media who usually keep sharing the best deals for gamers. Recently, the user noticed that there were pre-orders going on for several merchandise items on the website Entertainment Earth.

Apparently, the merchandise items were associated with none other than God of War: Ragnarok.

Wario64, in his initial tweet, mentioned that the items featured in the pre-orders included the Axe and Bow Beanie, Top Snap Back Hat, and Ragnasock Socks. All of them were shown to arrive by the month of July 2022.

However, just six hours after the account mentioned the details for God of War: Ragnarok items, Entertainment Earth removed them completely. You can see it below in another tweet posted by the Twitter account.

“Entertainment Earth delisted the God of War Ragnarok stuff. Makes you wonder.”

Well, it’s an interesting situation to witness. First, the makers of the game made the merchandise available on the online store. But then they took them down. Maybe the developing team realized that this might, indirectly, reveal the release window for the awaited entry.

Expected release date 

As of now, most of the fans are expecting the title to make its way in 2022 itself. While Santa Monica hasn’t provided an official word on it yet, their Twitter account description currently shows that Ragnarok is heading for a launch in this year.

God of War: Ragnarok is in development for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
