The Americas league consists of some of the biggest teams in the region’s circuit. The teams in the circuit have lifted several Masters trophies and even a champions trophy recently. So it is hard to predict who will emerge victorious in this competitive event. But based on the recent stats, we sure can state the likeness/chances of a team advancing to the next round.

There are a total of 55 matches scheduled for the event. The regular season commences on April 2 and will end on May 20. After this, the Playoffs will commence. Let’s first start with the 2022 Champions themself.

Loud

Loud has been one of the scariest teams in the world. They have, now and again, proved their prowess quite a lot. The team comprises saadhak, aspas, Less, tuyz, and cauanzin.

Aspas is one of the best Jett players in the world and he had proved it countless times with his insane gameplay. They will be facing MIBR in their first match, and likely they would emerge victorious in that match. Loud is expected to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament.

Player to Watch: aspas

100 Thieves

100T always have shown their constant presence in every competition that they were in. But unfortunately, the end result never came for the team. The team is considered to be one of NA’s most robust rosters and the presence of players like Asuna adds more juice to the lineup.

The team consists of Asuna, Stellar, Derrek, bang, and Cryocells. This roster looks pretty promising and they are also expected to get into the top 6.

Evil Geniuses

With raw talent, they were able to defeat Heretics in the VCT Sao Paulo Lock//In, but fell short against Talon Esports. The roaster sure has the potential to fight their way through, but seeing the performance of other teams, EG likely would be placed around the mid to lower side of the points table.

The team consists of Ethan, Boostio, C0M, BcJ, and Jawgemo.

Sentinels

They have been the face of NA Valorant for a long time, but unfortunately, after the first Masters’ victory, the team was unable to show the needed potential. The franchise went through a tremendous rebuild prior to the league’s commencement. They brought in champions paNcada and Sacy from Loud. Dephh came in as the IGL and retained their marque player TenZ. Zekken was the final addition to the team.

This star-studded team was expected to create tremendous impact at the Lock//In but fell short and got eliminated pretty fast. The team has the potential to rise the ladders, but taking into consideration the current performance, Sentinals are expected to position themselves at the middle/lower side of the leaderboards.

But mind that if they manage to defeat 100T in their first match, they would likely top the tables.

Players to Watch: Zekken and Tenz

NRG

Undoubtedly one of the best teams of NA at the moment. The core team of Optic was brought into the NRG squad. Along with FNS, Crashies, and Victor, the franchise ruled in Ardiis from FPX. s0m is the fifth man, and they are a well-oiled team.

The synergy of the ex-Optic members is remarkable and if Ardiis and s0m fit in to fill the gaps left by Marved and Yay, NRG will probably end up at the top of the leaderboard.

NRG is a team that is expected to reach the playoffs.

Mibr

The Brazilian franchise, which had shown prowess in other games like CS: GO is also participating in the tournament. The team has the potential to defeat several opponents in the league, but the chances of qualifying for the playoffs are minimal. But we can expect some tough competition from them. The team consists of frz, murizzz RgLMeister, heat and jzz.

Players to watch: Heat

Leviatán

They showcased their true potential in Sao Paulo. The team, led by one of the best IGLs of the game kiNgg, would be a tough opponent to beat.

Likely, they would be fighting it out with Sentinels in the middle of the leaderboards for the qualifying spot. The team includes kiNgg, Tacolilla, nzr, Mazino, and Shyy.

KRU Esports

KRU always have been in the top-tier competition. But their performance at the needed time has not been up to the mark. The team has fallen short quite a number of times.

But the return of Kenzit is a piece of good news for KRU. However, the chances of them qualifying for the playoffs are quite minimal. The team includes Klaus, NagZ, Melser, xand, and Daveeys.

Players to watch: Klaus

Furia

Another Brazilian powerhouse, Furia is also a constant contender at top-tier tournaments. But like KRU they also have not managed to create the needed impact to rise to the top. They will also have a hard time qualifying for the playoffs.

The team includes mwzera, Quick, Khalil, Mazin and dgzin.

Cloud 9

On paper, they are one of the most solid squads in the NA region. But the unexpected results at the Sao Paulo Lock//IN resulted in the departure of Yay, one of the best players in the world. They also changed their long-standing IGL Vanity.

runi and qpert have been ruled in to fill the vacant spots. Zellsis, Xeppa, and Leaf remain in the roaster.

The lack of time for scrims for the newly reshuffled roaster may cause some performance hindrances for the team. Thus, they might struggle in the initial parts of the tournament. But if the synergy kicks in, like Sentinels, they have the potential to top the ladders. But at the moment, they too likely would be fighting in the middle of the leaderboards.
