Recently, a talented YouTuber named Danny Lum, who happens to be a devoted Valorant player as well, has made a real-life Killjoy turret. Not only is this a strikingly similar model, but this turret is fully functional and works exactly the same as the game. After spending six months and with the help of Red Bull, Lum made the turret a reality.

This 3D-printed gadget is equipped with artificial intelligence and machine learning. That means this turret is self-learning and self-evolving. It has the ability to track and recognize people, and it can shoot them if they come close to its field of vision periphery, which is 30 feet. Not only that, but because of AI, you can train this turtle according to your desires.

Lum trained this awesome model in a certain way so that it could recognize KJ’s iconic yellow jacket and refrain from shooting people wearing it. Although the impact of this turret is quite painful, at least the small bruises in the ribs of the testers suggest that.

Lum shared a detailed video of the turret on his YouTube channel. Check that out from here.

Killjoy, a matchwinner

This turret is one of the many things that this Sentinel character can pull off. Killjoy herself is an engineer from Germany. So, these kinds of crazy experiments are obvious to her. As a sentinel character, KJ mainly specializes in defending by watching both flanks and resisting backstabs.

KJ uses her turret to mainly resist the enemy, up to a certain extent. Although it can be destroyed with bullets,  this turret can also be used to detect enemies. Upon careful placement, this turbine can be a game changer.

Talking about other abilities, Killjoy’s Nanoswarm grenade is absolutely lethal, killing enemies who are in its zone. On the other hand, the Alarmbot is another crucial ability of the German engineer, who hunts down enemies in range and explodes in a non-lethal way, making them vulernable.

Last but not least, the ultimate ability of KJ can turn the game on your head. This ability, named Lockdown, captures enemies if they are caught in the radius, making them detained.
