Riot Games is readying up Valorant Mobile for players as the demand gets higher. The popularity of the game brought in over 17 million unique players just this month. Riot Games has worked on mobile versions of popular games in the past and the upcoming Valorant title seems to be following this trend.And there has been a leak about the same. One feature that has been leaked from the gameplay shows players a feature they have all been waiting for.

A recent leak surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) with a clip of a player trying out the upcoming Valorant mobile. Although they explained that everything about the mobile game is the same as the PC, they showcased a feature that is not yet out for the PC.

Valorant mobile will have replays and highlights

Although Riot Games plans on releasing the full version of Valorant on Android and iOS, there will be one new feature on the mobile that PC players have missed. In the leaked clip of some mobile gameplay, players get to see the replay and highlights function being added to the game.

The clip also showcased a little gameplay, and it looks almost identical to the PC version of the game. Even the skins in Valorant Mobile are the same as the ones found on PC. As Valorant Mobile is a completely new game in itself, players mostly won’t get to share progress between the platforms.

While these features are not new to the game, they are only available in China. With Riot Games being a subsidiary of Tencent, it’s only natural that the region received significant updates before the rest of the servers.

When will it launch?

Riot Games has not yet disclosed the launch date. However, a tentative time frame of late 2024 has been mentioned. Meanwhile, Valorant Mobile is already running its closed beta program in China.

Any information about the game is sourced through the closed beta. A few significant things that come up are that the game will feature all the characters from the PC game. Players will also get to see the maps that they play and know.

One thing that’s different so far is that aside from skins, players can also customize their character to trigger agent animation upon winning a game. While these have been implemented in the PC games, Valorant Mobile brings in a few animations that haven’t been seen on the PC.

The hype for Valorant Mobile is growing. While all the information out so far is from the early stage of the game, players will have to wait until the release of the game is closer.
