Back on February 14, 2005, YouTube launched on the world wide web. In its initial days, this website was a casual video-sharing platform. But as the years passed, YouTube turned into a colossal space for professional online content creation and gaming. One of the veteran creators of the platform, Jacksepticeye, recently shared a meme from the golden (and a slightly awkward) days of YouTube.
Seán William McLoughlin aka Jacksepticeye is one of the biggest and most influential content creators on YouTube. He is the biggest name in the YouTube gaming space, with his fellow influencers and friends, Markiplier and PewDiePie. Together, these three individuals are considered the “Big Three” of YouTube gaming.

To celebrate his and his friends’ long careers and their legacies, Jack shared an old meme of the “Big Three”. The meme featured the old and modern looks of Jack, Mark, and Pewds in side-by-side panels. And the caption ‘Who are you? I am you from the future. Who are all these people? Our Fans. So it means… We did it.” was divided part by part in each of the panels.

This style was very famous on Tumblr, back when it was relevant. But the meme culture has also shifted drastically in the years and today something like this would simply be considered as “cringe”. But to relive the good ol’days and give the fans a taste of the nostalgia, Jack decided to share the meme, even if it is terribly outdated.
How did the fans react?
YouTuber Quackity replied, “JACK TWEETED IT! ITS CANON!! THIS CONVERSATION HAPPENED FOR REAL!”. Fellow veteran Youtuber Anthony Padilla also replied to the tweet. The fans were pouring in the replies with their memes and making the whole issue much more hilarious.
