The Vondead map created quite a stir with its grim take on one of the most popular maps in Warzone 2 and this new Ester Egg seems to do justice to the new map’s environment.

Some might say Call of Duty is going overboard with The Haunting event. Call of Duty sure knows how to keep their fans coming back. While there are tons of entries to the franchise, almost all games have their own fans who swear by their favorite titles. With the Halloween season upon us, the fans were hit by the sudden arrival of The Haunting Event. Now, a new Ester Egg looks to offer a new set of challenges with some sweet rewards at the end of it. To complete the challenge, players will first need to head over to the Graveyard on Vondead. Upon locating a specific church at the place, you’ll need to interact with a book on the altar by “summoning”.

If that doesn’t already give you sweaty palms, don’t worry, you’re in for more. The summoning will set off a spooky ritual that will make some buildings on the map emit green light. While the beacon building might change, the windmill looks like a standard place where we can locate such hellish spectacles. While at the windmill, do notice the cryptic signs on the ground, for the feeling of standing on sinister grounds.

Inside the windmill, players can locate the SO 14 blueprint suspended in the air above another symbol on the ground. Once you pick it up, the blueprint gets unlocked for the entire squad. The Witch’s Stick blueprint looks pretty cool, and if you’re also a fan of all things grim and gnarly, this just might be the cosmetic for you.

The community is transfixed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 right now. The game is slated for release next month and beta testing has just been concluded. Fans were left impressed by the beta and hope that the full game does justice to its potential. However, while MW3 looks to take center stage, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 still have something up their sleeve to keep players on the game for just a while longer.

The Season 6 update will possibly be the last new content before the focus shifts to the upcoming release entirely. While fans wait for MW3 to finally arrive, Warzone looks to keep the community entertained at least for a while.
