Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will finally unleash Zombies to players of the rebooted franchise. Ever since the devs announced the debut of the undead in MW universe, there’s been a growing buzz among fans on the internet. They are eagerly waiting for the game’s full release in order to jump straight into the action and go against large hordes of zombies. But what if you also end up receiving extended gameplay options of choosing how you want to enter the outbreak area?

That’s what Sledgehammer and Treyarch’s teams have done for Modern Warfare Zombies. It seems like players can also experience it in 3rd person.

Ahead of the official release of MW3, some players have been able to access the game early, thanks to their time zones. As a result, a lot of gameplay footage from Multiplayer as well as Zombie modes has surfaced online. And a COD insider, named MW2 OG, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to drop a short video from the upcoming Zombies experience of Modern Warfare 3.

Going by the clip, it seems like Call of Duty fans can play Modern Warfare 3 Zombies in 3rd person too. That’s what MW2 OG has claimed while also showing the simple trick of how others can enable this option after the game’s release.

The insider wrote in his post that players using a controller can just hold down on the D-pad to activate third person mode in Modern Warfare Zombies. The same trick can be used to move out of 3rd person gameplay.

It’s something really impressive to know about the game ahead of its global debut. The devs haven’t really talked about the 3rd person option so far while revealing numerous blogs on MW3 Zombies. But it’s nice to see that they have actually offered such a choice to the players. There are many users who are fond of 3rd person gameplay, ever since it was first introduced in Modern Warfare II last year.

Talking more about the Zombies content in MW3, it will also bring back classic elements from the Black Ops series. For example, there will be Perk-a-Colas alongside mind-boggling Wonder Weapons. In fact, players will witness the addition of a brand new weapon itself, named Scorcher. It will be available along with the likes of Ray Gun.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to launch on November 10. As of now, one can enjoy its story mode that was unveiled last week as part of the early access period.
