Mario Kart is undoubtedly one of the most popular video game series among Nintendo fans. Many fans have paid their tribute to the highly successful franchise in their own way over the years. However, a recently uploaded, quirky tribute has managed to amaze a huge audience!
Mario Kart is a series of racing games, where players take the role of a beloved character from the Mario lore and go-kart their way to victory. During the race, players can also collect power-ups that help them win the exhilarating races. The first game in the series, Super Mario Kart, was released way back in 1992 and was available on Super Nintendo Entertainment Systems.

Following the first game, fans have received 8 more games in the series for Nintendo consoles, alongside some arcade games and a mobile game too. Mario Kart Deluxe 8 is the latest in-console game in the series, which was released in 2017.
In addition, Nintendo also released a mixed reality racing game as a part of the series in 2020. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit allows players to indulge in a vibrant, in-real Mario Kart experience!
Fan uses shopping carts to recreate an incredible Mario Kart experience
A Mario fan of the name ‘friterie_perols’ on Instagram, posted an extremely applaudable recreation of the popular series. The video shows a bunch of Nintendo fans, sitting in shopping carts, start racing, as the iconic sound for the race to start goes off. While racing, they pick up power-ups, just like in the games, but they created those power-ups with paper and adding some creativity of their own!
