But in the Wizarding World, one would be imprisoned in Azkaban for using the killing curse. But such consequences are not there in the game, but now there is a mod that does.

Hogwarts Legacy mod sends the player to prison for using Avada Kedavra

Players get to learn the three unforgivable curses while following Sebastian Sallow’s quest line. Later, the Avada Kedavra can be used on almost anyone without any consequences. The only person in the game who does get imprisoned in Azkaban for using the killing curse is Sebastian, and that too if the player makes a specific choice.

There is a new Hogwarts Legacy mod that makes players ‘wanted’ for using Avada Kedavra. Many Hogwarts Professors and Solomon Sallow will spawn to arrest players. After getting caught, the sorting hat animation will play, who will sort the players in Azkaban instead of a house. Then the scene would shift to the players in a prison cell.

Although the players would have their wands, they would be unusable. So, those who thought to pull off an “Azkaban Break” before Sirius Black should forget about this dream. If someone really wants to avoid prison in this mod, then try to avoid getting caught until the “Wanted Time Left” timer reaches zero.
