The football fanatic, young YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed had an emotional breakdown live on his stream after he unpacked the legendary super rare player card of Pelé in FIFA 23. The “Godfather of Football,” who recently passed away, made young Darren and his audience jump from their seats.

Apparently, the card is one of the most highly-rated player cards in the game. It has a rating of 98, which is almost unrivaled in the game. The high stats and rarity of the card make it one of the most valuable player cards in FIFA 23. It costs around 4.28 million FUTY coins in-game.

That’s why the fanbase didn’t flinch when Darren almost cried on the stream when he unpacked the Brazilian legend in FIFA 23.

In his latest stream, Darren delved into the latest FIFA installment as he showcased some player card openings. During one of his draws, a Brazilian card appeared. With his signature poor skills of identifying flags, he called the Brazilian flag to be “Netherlands”. But when the card revealed itself, Speed couldn’t hold himself. 

Seeing the card Speed went feral as he said, “RIP! RIP! RIP! Pepe daddy! RIP! 99 overall! Pepe RIP! The Godfather of football! Oh my goodness! 98 overall! Let’s go! Let’s go bro. Thank you EA. EA, I love you guys, finally. They finally gave me something worthy of me. Let’s go!” 

Previously, he had also unpacked the modern-day GOATs, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. His reaction was the same, if not wilder, in these moments. Especially when he laid his eyes on Cristiano. He stood erect and was shaking vigorously with excitement. Repeatedly saying, “Suyee! Suyeee!”

The fans were equally excited by the revelation. Along with that, the comments of the clip were filled with fans expressing their respect and tribute to the greatest of all time and spamming “R.I.P” wishing a peaceful afterlife for the Brazilian legend.
