CSGO streamer has a near-death experience

On April 5, 2023, Twitch streamer Dylastein was live playing the popular first-person shooter game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO), when a terrifying incident occurred. His entire ceiling suddenly caved in, causing debris and dust to fall all over his bed and belongings behind him.

eSports journalist Jake Lucky recently posted a clip of this incident. The incident was captured live on Dylastein’s stream, and it quickly went viral on social media. According to Lucky, Dylastein got lucky as the ceiling only fell on the bed behind him, and not on him while he was gaming. Telling his followers that Dylastein is reading every follow and comment, Lucky urged people to follow his Twitch. According to his Twitch bio, Dylastein is a Houston-based music producer, audio engineer, and entrepreneur.

The cause of the ceiling collapse is still unknown, but fans are suggesting that it may have been due to structural damage or faulty wiring. While spectating the end of a match on CSGO, fans could hear the drywall fall from the ceiling.
